A New Look for The Boutique Markets

My decorating fund has dried up over Christmas so

it is time to go back to work.

Kids are back at  School this week (quiet yeah!)

I have been a stall holder at the Boutique Markets in Hamilton

Brisbane since they began a couple of years ago.

A beautiful spot on the river but it's time for a change.

This year will find The Boutique Markets at

 King George Square in Brisbane.

Less markets, only four a year but bigger and better

So put the first date on your calender and come 

by and say hello.

February 26th  9am - 1pm

Boutique Markets Christmas Shopping

A Lower level Frame.

We went down to see how the  house was progressing on the weekend and we have a lower level frame.

It is great to walk around and get the feel of what some of the house will feel like.

Can't wait till upstairs is up and has a floor down.  Very exciting.....

Beautiful Birdcages at Butterly Tree

Tomorrow is the 2nd Butterfly Tree Markets on the Gold Coast.

I have been madly sewing to build up lots of lovely stock and have a rack full of clothes, my trade mark sweet Ruby and Belle dolls and my new range of bird cages.

These I think are my favorite so far.

Have to excuse my photography, cloudy and windy doesn't help my amiture skills.

These are in limited stock so if you would like one let me know and

I can put one aside for you.

Ruby and Belle will be at the Mummy Tree Markets later in the month, Mathilda's Markets on the 6th November for the Christmas extraveganza , then again at the December Butterfly Tree Christmas Market on the Gold Coast.   We will also be at our favourite Boutique markets in November and December.

I don't usually post pictures of the kids on my blog, but Ruby looked so sweet in her 

dress I had to share.

It was a lovely night, and we had dinner with school friends after.

Then it was back to business as usual on Sunday.

It was a great day at Hamilton, clouds threatening a few times but stayed fine all day.

Waiting

This has to be the most boring part of the build.  Waiting.  We are hoping to get our plans back from Council in a week or two so we can start.  Nothing to do but wait.

Have plenty of things to keep me busy, sewing, sewing and some more sewing.

Haven't finished Ruby's communion dress yet but promise to post it as soon as it is finished.

I have been thinking of doing a ballet style doll for Ruby & Belle for a while so when I got a request from a customer I jumped at it.

Here is what I came up with.

Off to Portside Wharf on Sunday for the Boutique Markets. The weather report is good 

so should be a lovely day.

Yesterday started out a little chilly but turned out to be a stunning QLD day.

Sunday Markets

This Sunday I am at Boutique Markets at Portside Wharf, Hamilton.

Let's hope that the morning isn't too chilly, not easy putting up a marque with frozen fingers.

The stall across from me is always tempting me with her lovely things but am trying very hard not to make anymore 'want' purchases until later. Here is a few pics from Our Country Garden.

I can't help but imagine these baskets filled with goodies, lining the shelves of my Butlers Panty.

kitchen Inspiration.

Off to meet with yet another kitchen place tomorrow, I've never had such a problem getting a quote.  You would think that doing a full build with kitchen, laundry,  and 2 bathrooms and 4 wardrobes someone would be keen.
Anyway, loving these high cupboards, we will have 3 meter ceilings in kitchen and living room.

Would be nice to have a unlimited budget.

Busy sewing stock for the  Butterfly Tree and Mathilda's Markets in August.

Good news, looks like I will have a mobile eftpos machine  to take along.  

Suncorp has some good deals if anyone is looking.

Loving Rattan

Still drooling over the Riviera Maison website.
I was down at Ascot the other day and in one of my favorite shops Lyle & Bank.
I found out  that they have been able to place an order with Riviera Maison and will be expecting a delivery in about 8 weeks.  Just long enough to save up for a few things!!!

We had a quite but lovely day down at Portside, the rain held off which was great but a little chilly early on.

Rachael is doing a great job flying solo.

I fished off my little bird house so will post a little pic later on.  Will be starting on some more this week and getting ready for my first visit to the Butterfly Markets on the Gold Coast.
