Entrance Hall

My next project in the house is going to be the
entrance hall.
I spent a lot of time and money doing up the living
room, which is still waiting to be finished!

But I stumbled upon a sweet archway mirror in Adair's down
in Fortitude Vally last week and put it on lay by.....

I had an idea of a full length one at the end of the hall
as you walk in but as yet have not found anything close
to budget .

I also am saving up for a new hall table.

It is the Hugo console from Villa Maison
that goes with my dining table.
They were out of stock last year so hoping
it is available soon.

The mirror is a bit like this one.

will hang the archway mirror above and
looking for another lamp similar to our bedside lamp
but with a square shaped shade.

The back of the front door needs painting
as well as the skirting.  Will get there one day.

Here are a few of the inspirational images
I found via pintrest.

Love the seat in the hall but not sure ours is quite wide enough

May do a hat and coat rail on the other wall.

Would be great to have everything finished but
that would be no fun...

Have a great weekend.

  1. Hello,
I visited your blog today - I saw you on 'my summerhouse.' Your blog is so lovely. I loved the owl. It reminds me of my daughter who is working on her Ph.D. right now. While I was reading, I noticed that you are a stay at home mom. When I read that, I smiled, as I was a stay at home mom for many years when my children were young. I think it is special that you do this. Me and my daughters started a blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your blog is filled with beauty and creative ideas. I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.
